what the ring means to us:

the ring is a place where talk ends and fighting begins. where triumph and disaster are met and confronted. where egos are crushed and where souls are laid bare. where skill, wit, courage, and character are found – or found wanting. where one buys the ticket, shows up, owns up, takes responsibility for the life he or she has chosen, and accepts the consequences and the outcome without reservation, regrets, or remorse.
